Sharing Tasks with Guests and Clients
Share a task with a guest or client without giving them an account, either a read-only view or an AI intake conversation.
Guests and clients don't need a Northflow account to work with you on a task. Open any task, hit Share, and choose one of two ways to bring them in.
Option 1: A read-only shareable view
Send a link to a read-only view of the task. The person you share it with can:
Comment on the task
Upload files
They can't see the rest of your workspace, just the task you shared.
Option 2: The AI Intake Agent conversation
Instead of a read-only view, you can send a link that starts a conversation with the AI Intake Agent. It interviews the person and collects exactly what you've asked for, a bio, a headshot, links, or anything else.
You can also attach a document for them to sign inside that same conversation, a release form or a contract, for example. Once it's signed, a copy is emailed to them automatically.
Which one to use
Use the read-only view when you just need feedback, files, or visibility into progress. Use the AI Intake Agent conversation when you need to actively collect specific information or a signature from someone before work can move forward.
