Start Here: Northflow Overview in Under 5 Minutes

The shape of the whole product in under five minutes: the four layers, your daily screens, and the four biggest time-savers.

This is the shape of the whole product in under five minutes. No deep dives, just enough to know what Northflow does and what to do first.

The four layers

Once these click, everything else is obvious.

  • Workspace — your company. You already have one.

  • Space — one body of work. One per show if you run a show, one per client if you're an agency, one per show if you run a network.

  • Project — usually one episode, living inside a Space.

  • Stages and tasks — your production pipeline: pre-production, recording, post-production, and the actual work sitting in each phase.

Workspace, Space, project, task. That's the whole model. See Understanding Your Workspace and What Is a Space and How to Create One for the full walkthrough of each.

Every Space also has two other tabs worth knowing: Documents for written material your team needs to read, and Assets for your files, artwork, audio, and thumbnails.

The screens you'll use every day

  • Home — where you land when you log in. Answers "what needs me today?"

  • Command Center — one calendar across every show and client you run.

  • My Tasks and saved Projects views — just what's assigned to you, or every project across every Space, filtered and saved the way you need it.

Four things that will save you the most time

  1. Templates — build your episode workflow once, and every episode after that starts fully built in seconds.

  2. AI Agents — assign them to tasks the same way you'd assign a person: a Transcriber, a Blog Writer, a Newsletter Writer, a Podcast Agent, a Guest Recruiter, and a Project Manager that runs the others.

  3. Booking calendars — set your availability once, share your link, and skip the back-and-forth emails.

  4. Sharing with people outside Northflow — guests and clients don't need an account to comment, upload files, or complete an intake conversation with you.

What to do first

Three things, in order: create a Space, build one template, then upload a recording and assign the Transcriber Agent. See the full Getting Started checklist for the details.

There's an onboarding project already waiting in your workspace that walks you through the rest, along with longer videos on each piece if you want more depth than this overview.
